Oxford Road Fun Day is a family day for the local Community set up by volunteers and organisations working together. Many activities are aimed at children and young people including fun fair rides, a bouncy castle, a climbing wall, various food stalls, ice creams, drinks. Many people who help are volunteers working together to ensure you have a good time.

Come and meet new people within your community and discover just what is available for you, your children and family in the way of support, help, activities, schemes etc. There are lots of things you may not know are available to you and the community is here to help you.

Many stalls are going to be there which include representatives from Scouts, Boys Brigade, Girl Guides, Berkshire MS Therapy Centre, Open Hand Open Space Art Centre, the Streetcare team, the 7th Rifles Battalion, your local Oxford Road Neighbourhood Action Group and safety team, the Battle Library and many other uniformed organisations and local community groups and charities.

If you would like to take part yourself or you run a group within the community who would like to have a stall, please fill in our interest form here (Microsoft Word) the more the merrier!!

We encourage everyone to attend and raise awareness of the work of your group or perhaps you could raise funds by selling things or doing activities and help us to bring the Community together! We are a community; we have much to offer, come and be a part of it all and have a fun day to boot!!

Join us and have a fun day and learn what we can do for you!!
